Rachael Boehmer

Rachael Boehmer, LCSW-R, is a licensed clinical social worker with 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland’s Master of Social Work program, where she specialized in the clinical treatment of mental health disorders. Rachael has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including acute care, residential, and outpatient care, providing compassionate and comprehensive treatment to individuals with diverse mental health concerns.

Rachael has intensive training and certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), specializing in working with individuals suffering from personality disorders. She is also experienced in creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for individuals dealing with Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender issues.

With over 10 years of experience working with adolescents in acute care, residential, and outpatient settings, Rachael is well-versed in addressing the unique challenges faced by this population. Additionally, she has significant experience providing clinical supervision to colleagues, focusing on training and developing excellence in diagnosing and effectively treating individuals experiencing complex mental health symptoms.
