a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and a proud Rochester native. A 20-year military veteran, Dan brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to service in all aspects of his clinical work.
He earned both his undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees from St. John Fisher College, specializing in psychiatry. Since 2014, Dan has worked across a wide range of mental health settings, gaining extensive experience in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and other psychiatric conditions.
His diverse clinical background includes chemical dependency treatment, acute inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric emergency services, outpatient mental health clinics, and partial hospitalization programs.
In addition to seeing patients at Penfield Psychiatry, Dan also works full-time at the University of Rochester’s Adult Partial Hospitalization Program, where he continues to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals navigating mental health challenges who are in need of more structured, short-term care.
